Pinehurst, long recognized for golf, is a championship facility in tennis and lawn sports as well. Our 24-court tennis center (18 clay and 6 hard surface) was the site of 1994-96 U.S. Clay Court Championships, and continues to host USTA events each year. With six courts lit for night play and a staff of professionals ready to teach and play, we offer one of the Top 50 Tennis experiences found anywhere (just ask Tennis Magazine).

Annual Tennis events include the USTA Men's National 70s, 85 and 90 Clay Court Champoinships and the Adult and Senior North Carolina State League Championships, among others
Not to be outdone, the 2003 U.S. Lawnbowls Championship was held at Pinehurst, and continues to draw the best in the sport to our immaculate greens. Two croquet courts are also open to resort guests for a fun, out of the ordinary activity or for passionate championship play. Learn to play, or compete for the glory of sport. Lessons, equipment and court time are all available.
